Have you experienced God’s grace, compassion and righteousness?

Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous. (Psalms 112:4 KJV)

This scripture verse speaks of God’s blessings which are given to those who choose to live blameless and upright, aligning themselves together with the righteousness of God.  Those living godly are promised to experience the essence of God’s richness, grace, compassion, and righteousness, now and forever.

However, this verse does not promise ...

Does your heart rest in presents or presence of God?

Acquaint now thyself with him, and be at peace: thereby good shall come unto thee. Receive, I pray thee, the law from his mouth, and lay up his words in thine heart. If thou return to the Almighty, thou shalt be built up, thou shalt put away iniquity far from thy tabernacles. (Job 22:21-23 KJV)

Job is listening to guidance given by his friend Eliphaz.  His advice is remarkably like ...

The Prophet Daniel exhibited godly submission and obedience.

Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men. (Acts 5:29 KJV)

God has placed earthly authorities over us as we sojourn upon this earth.  Just like in ancient biblical times, not all those in authority over us are ruling according to the principles and precepts of God.  There are both evil and good leaders set in places of power over us.

God expects that ...

Does your life have the stamp of self-worth or “God worth” on it?

For not he that commendeth himself is approved, but whom the Lord commendeth. (2 Corinthians 10:18 KJV)

Many people desire to purport their own worthiness.  We live in a day of focusing intently upon “self-worth” rather than “God worth.”  Many desire to “toot their own horn” spouting off about their own value in relation to the dark standards and principles of the god of this world.

The real ...

Do you have a short fuse?

My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. (James 1:2-3 KJV)

Patience seems to be in short supply today; both among individuals operating in accordance to ways of this world and with those who profess to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.  The response to adverse or contrary circumstances of those acknowledging to live unto the things of Christ ...

God is compassionate having no racial barriers or hatred.

For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy. (Romans 9:15-16 KJV)

It is God who is in charge and runs the show.  God is not swayed by man’s earthly terms, conditions or faulty ...

Fearfully and Wonderfully Made

The human body is an incredible human machine.  Our physical body was uniquely created by the loving hand of God with many complex feats of nature housed inside a simple tent of flesh.  The pathophysiology of our human body is a constant miracle which continually performs vital functions twenty-four hours a day every day and often under the influence of many stressors and at times amid harsh environments.

Our bodies are both precise and complex. The structure of organs, ...

Mankind in his natural state is a law breaker.

Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin. (Romans 3:20 KJV)

The law was given to Moses by God for use as a tool in convicting mankind of his natural inclination to sin.  It is a spiritual pricking or awakening of his conscious which pokes holes in man’s estimation of himself encouraging him to ...

Are you spiritually fat?

There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth; and there is that withholdeth more than is meet, but it tendeth to poverty. The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself. (Proverbs 11:24-25 KJV)

Those individuals who give to others through giving of their finances, time, and means to God openhandedly find that God liberally multiplies back many blessings in return. Nobody can ever out give the generosity of God.  His economy ...

Nothing Greater than God

God will never be felled or hewn down by any work of man, beguiling of the devil, or inclement weather.  God will always remain standing tall as part of the Godhead: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  Jesus Christ was hewn down, succumbing to physical death on the cross at Calvary, but did rise from His physical death on the cross being resurrected the third day unto new spiritual life as the Holy Spirit came to dwell within ...
