Are You Souring or Serving God

But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen. (2 Peter 3:18 KJV)

Did you know that for a spiritually quickened alive child of God that serving Him by growing in grace and knowledge is not merely a good thought or suggestion.  God desires that the regenerate child of God continue to spiritually grow and mature in His grace and knowledge. Actually, it is an imperative from God and necessary in obtaining a harvest of continued spiritual growth.  Greater spiritual truths move man from lapping on the milk of our spiritual infancy onto digesting meat and maturing in His Word.

Often those who spend an inordinate amount of time feeding on the pleasant and palatable milk of His Word have become comfortably soured, spiritually lazy, and complacent in their walk as they sojourn upon this earth.  Some eventually become spiritually idle before God, not sowing the seed of Truth to others or growing in their own faith, becoming more interested in things the god of this world has to offer, rather than continuing to feast and grow in our walk with Him.

God did not regenerate any person’s spiritual heart so that he or she can sit and sour and waste away in their personal relationship with Him. God has a purpose for each and every man, woman, and child, even before they are physically born on this earth.  Inviting Him to dwell in their heart is just the first step in having a personal relationship with Him!

Let’s take a journey into the meat of God’s Word to grow and mature in His Truth by learning more of what He has to say in His Word about:

SALVATION          SPIRITUAL LIVING        ACCUMULATING SPIRITUAL WEALTH    HITTING SPIRITUAL ROCK BOTTOM
