Luke 12:19 (KJB) And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry.
Luke 12:20 (KJB) But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?
Hebrews 9:27 (KJB) And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
We often think that because we are good people, we give to the poor, we volunteer, we don’t lie too much or steal or do harm to people that we should go to heaven when we die based on what we have done on this earth.
Many think that because they went to church and sat and listened to the preacher for 30 years, they should go to heaven.
Perhaps you think that your baptism or church membership is enough to get you to heaven.
Unfortunately, there is nothing that you can do on your own to get to heaven. That includes going to church, baptism, and being a good person.
God says in Isaiah 64:6 (KJB) But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.
When we die we all have an appointment that we will not be able to avoid, cancel or miss. We will all stand before God, and He will send us based on “our choices” to Heaven or Hell. Many will deny this appointment exists, but that will not matter to God.
John 5:28-29 (KJB) Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.
You still say I lived a real good life? Everything has been recorded, and God says “there is none righteous, no, not one!”
Romans 3:10 (KJB) As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
Revelation 20:12 (KJB) And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
Mark 4:22 (KJB) For there is nothing hid, which shall not be manifested; neither was any thing kept secret, but that it should come abroad.
Matthew 12:36 (KJB) But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.
Matthew 5:28 (KJB) But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.
Matthew 10:26 (KJB) ….for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known.
But God gives every man, woman and child a choice. John 3:36 (KJB) He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
John 3:16 (KJB) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Romans 10:9 (KJB) That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
There is only one way, one thing we can do, that will get us to heaven!
John 14:6 (KJB) Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
The book of life will be opened, and if your name does not appear in it then you did not choose eternal life! Do not misunderstand it will be your choice that sends you to Hell. This is what you will hear:
Matthew 25:41 (KJB) Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
Matthew 25:46 (KJB) And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.
Revelation 20:15 (KJB) And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
This Can be Your Life
2 Peter 3:9 (KJB) The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
It would be terrible to spend eternity in everlasting punishment, everlasting fire, Hell! Know that God does not want you to go to Hell. He offers everyone the opportunity to spend eternity with Him in Heaven!
John 3:3 (KJB) Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
Isaiah 1:18 (KJB) Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
1 Corinthians 2:9 (KJB) But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

1 Corinthians 15:1-4 (KJB) Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
