Colossians Bible Study – Chapter 1 Part 29

What our reconciliation means!

Colossians 1:21-22 (KJB) “And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight.”

The next time Satan wants to set on your shoulder and discourage you by reminding you of your past – remind him of his future. Revelation 20:10 (KJB) “And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.”

By His shed blood, we have been reconciled. The purpose was to present us “holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight.

(1) Holy before God, (i.e., pure);
(2) Unblameable—in His sight; and
(3) Unreproveable. Without cause for censure or criticism.
