Determining Your Eternal Destiny
2 Corinthians 9:15 (KJB) Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift.
Al glory and honor goes to God for His free gift. It is only because of His goodness and grace that you and I have anything in this world.
The whereabouts of our eternal address is tied into our acceptance or denial of His free gift.
All mankind receives the same opportunity to personally take God’s unspeakable gift and unwrap it inside the confines of his heart. However, not all mankind will choose to accept it or release it in their life. A man is often more concerned with accumulating worldly gifts and presents than he is ever passionately worked up about receiving one eternally important gift from God in his heart.
To have personal possession of eternal life is to receive the ability to live perpetually, or forever, in the eternal realm. The arrival of all individuals upon their physical death in the eternal realm is never in question. The real question is if he or she will arrive in the eternal realm spiritually dead and doomed to exist in the fires of hell forever or spiritually alive receiving an address of fellowship with God for all eternity.
To personally possess this spiritual address requires a man to place his faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ at Calvary. Until man takes the step to place his faith in the gift of His Son’s shed blood on Calvary man can only intellectually know about this precious gift never accepting it for himself on a personal level.
