Draw All Men
John 12:32 (KJB) And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.
This short verse is a great reference to the sacrifice of Jesus Christ upon Calvary. Just as the serpent was lifted up in the wilderness Jesus Christ would be lifted up.
It agrees perfectly with the message in this verse:
John 3:14-15 (KJB) And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: 15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
In the physical death of Jesus Christ, who is also God, all mankind has the opportunity through His gift for living forever. Not only does every man have an opportunity to live forever, but the death of Jesus Christ is a spiritual magnet, or an open invitation, which calls for all mankind to be spiritually reconciled to Him.
The shed blood sacrifice of Calvary speaks to the hearts of all mankind. It is an innate desire to be resurrected spiritually alive in fellowship with God forever. Have you answered God’s call for new spiritual life?
