Glorify God with an Eternally Minded Heart
Matthew 5:16 (KJB) Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
God ushered in the possibility of salvation for all mankind for a specific purpose.
God did not send His Son into this world so that you and I can sit on the sidelines of life feeling sorry for ourselves and becoming “spiritually sour”.
He did not send His Only Son so that you and I could serve Him halfheartedly by being a “Sunday only running back” choosing to “horse around” in the world the other six days of the week.
God gave mankind the possibility of salvation so that he can choose to serve and glorify God with His supernaturally powerful and penetrating light which always produces fruitful works. Salvation is all about honoring and glorifying God. It is having an eternal light that shines forth from the depths of the heart of regenerated man.
This fervent love for God always produces heartfelt service honoring and glorifying God, having nothing to do with any works of mankind.
God desires man will choose to serve Him obediently through faith, allowing His light to shine in them and through them as they sojourn on this earth with an eternal mindset at work in their heart.
