God Calls Godly Men to Pastoral Positions

Likewise, thou son of man, set thy face against the daughters of thy people, which prophesy out of their own heart; and prophesy thou against them, And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe to the women that sew pillows to all armholes, and make kerchiefs upon the head of every stature to hunt souls! Will ye hunt the souls of my people, and will ye save the souls alive that come unto you? And will ye pollute me among my people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, to slay the souls that should not die, and to save the souls alive that should not live, by your lying to my people that hear your lies? (Ezekiel 13:17-19 KJV)

God did select some women to be prophetess’s but those women who were parading about as preachers were creating quite a stir. Ezekiel was commanded by God to preach against them and expose their error.  These women were false preachers never called of God, therefore were bringing their message rather than anything from God.

God can use women in ministry.  However, He does not ever call them to fulfill a position of Pastor.  This position is solely reserved for godly men whom God calls and equips for His service.  There are many women preachers at work in pulpits today who are preaching their brand of “Bible talk” not found in truths from the inspired Word of God.

Women were not only preaching but were dressing themselves ill spiritual fashion.  They attired in fashion not suitable or pleasing to God.  They were polluting the Word of God both in their gaudy appearance as well as their words.  God was certainly not pleased with this spiritual charade only serving to blur truth and lead others astray.
