God Does Not Limit Understanding
In the law it is written, With men of other tongues and other lips will I speak unto this people; and yet for all that will they not hear me, saith the Lord. (1 Corinthians 14:21 KJV))
The law is referring to God’s Word. The law was written in stone in the Old Testament; His Word was written by inspiration in the New Testament.
His Word (who is Jesus Christ) was a completion of, or continuation of His Law. His Word did not put an end to God’s Law but perfectly completed it. Both were established of God. The Law came through Moses while His Word came through Jesus Christ.
God’s Word is being put into other tongues, or languages, so that many people can read and understand it. God did not limit understanding. He divinely makes it available to all mankind despite their native tongue, for He desires all mankind be saved (2 Timothy 2:4).
Some have chosen not to hear God’s Word in their own language, like many Jews in the Old Testament who were even given signs to prove validity and soundness of the message.
God orchestrates spiritual understanding by allowing His Word to be translated into other languages to effect, or reach all mankind. One day all languages in existence will hear God’s Word in their tongue. Man, however, must choose to hear His Word.
