God Gave You a Purpose and Responsibility
Genesis 2:15 (KJB) And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.
I hope you sincerely understand that God did not place you on this earth to sit and sour, to nap, or lounge in the sun. God has a purpose for your life. In fact, there is a purpose attached to the life of every man.
Yes, you were born with a divine purpose!
This scripture verse tells us that Adam was created to dress and keep the Garden of Eden. Certainly, you already know that Adam first failed in the purpose of God upon his life. He failed miserably. God had to step in and save Adam from himself. Not only that but God had to save Eve from herself.
Likewise, we can learn a lot about patience, long-suffering, and obedience in the life of Joseph as recorded in ancient Old Testament biblical times.
You and I are a lot like Adam and Eve rather than Joseph. Left to ourselves, we often fumble and fail miserably in the purpose God has for our lives. However, when we choose to submit to God, like did Joseph, God will direct our life and bring about opportunities to fulfill His specific will in our life as we sojourn on this earth.
