God Promises an Inheritance for Overcomers
He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. (Revelation 21:7-8 KJV)
“He that overcometh shall inherit all things…”
There is a lot of supernatural power packed tightly into these few words spoken by God.
This is a conditional pledge, straight from the mouth of God, found obviously in this sentence. This promise is available for ALL that overcome.
Spiritual inheritance is NOT available for anyone who chooses, through free will, to remain lost and spiritually dead in sin.
God goes on to say then, without mincing any words, those who will NOT inherit all things:
“But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone…”
Man can overcome any sin, including fear, unbelief, abominations to God, sexual sins, magic, idolatry, and a lying tongue through faith by applying the supernatural power of God in his life. It is not enough for a man to recognize his sin. He must both recognize his own personal sin and allow God to dwell in his softened heart working in him and through him to cleanse and sanctify his heart.
