God Said: “When I See the Blood…”
Exodus 12:12-13 (KJB) For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the LORD. 13 And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.
What does God see when He looks at your door frame?
God is looking for the application of the precious shed blood protection. This scripture passage in the book of Exodus is recorded in an Old Testament time before the willing shed blood sacrifice of Jesus Christ. It is looking forward to the time of Jesus Christ’s precious shed blood.
This ancient time before Calvary is painting a divine illustration of the day to come when Jesus Christ was willing to die on the cross at Calvary for the sin nature of every man.
Today, we are fortunate to live in a time of the Age of Grace which looks back to the cross at Calvary. His precious blood has already been shed. God is waiting for every man, woman, and child to apply His precious blood for eternal protection upon his or her softened heart.
