His Glory Fills the Heavens
God came from Teman, and the Holy One from mount Paran. Selah. His glory covered the heavens, and the earth was full of his praise. (Habakkuk 3:3 KJV)
“His glory covered the heavens…” perhaps is an allegoric reference in this Old Testament to when God appeared to Moses on the mountain to give him the law as other events unfolded amongst the people waiting impatiently at the bottom of the mountain.
Whether this verse is talking about this particular momentous spiritual event or another great event recorded in the Bible it is quite evident that the wonder of God’s glory always magnificently fills the heavens.
The presence of God is something hard to even imagine or come to terms with as we sojourn in this world.
The holy presence of God coming down from the third heaven and filling the second heaven in the clouds with His holy presence will be seen and heard only by His spiritual family when He returns, as promised, to usher them into the eternal realm.
Jesus Christ will return again to earth one last time bringing His hammer of justice for all who refused to acknowledge Him. He will swing His hammer bringing righteous wrath and devastation and total destruction to both mankind and this earth.
