I Kept Back Nothing
Acts 20:19-20 (KJB) Serving the Lord with all humility of mind, and with many tears, and temptations, which befell me by the lying in wait of the Jews: 20 And how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you, but have shewed you, and have taught you publickly, and from house to house.
Paul literally put everything on the line to serve God. He used every available part of his life to allow the brilliant light of God to shine through his every spiritual crevice or fissure.
Too often a man or woman desire to hide or camouflage their flaws and fumbles rather than allow them to be used for God’s divine purposes. They also have “Moses moments” when they feel unable to attain or achieve that which God has set out for them to accomplish. God asks, and many deny having any ability to do service for God.
We need more Paul’s who make themselves available for any request from God for their service in this world. This means they obediently remove self from the spiritual equation (Galatians 2:20) and identify with the holiness and righteousness of God, despite any event or circumstance from their past.
It has been said that some of God’s best servants have been bruised. Though they have past wounds, they do not retreat or seek flight like Jonah, but allow God to work in them and through them.
God can use any circumstance in our life to bring about spiritual profit in lost spiritual hearts. A man must be found obedient in sowing seeds of His gospel message and God will multiply according to His will and way. Paul obediently ran the race and allowed God to bring in His desired end.
