Living for God in a “Politically Correct” World
This world is highly charged and ready to pounce upon individuals or entities who dare to hold dear to their heart godly biblical principles. The dark minions of the god of this world especially enjoy harassing and hounding persons who desire to follow the absolute authority of God in the midst of this fault finding and a corruptively divisive evil world.
But we should not be surprised. God pared the circumstances at work in this world down to these few words in John 16:33 (KJB) These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
The unconditional love of God has already conquered sin, given the regenerate man an opportunity for a new separated spiritual life (2 Corinthians 5:17), and perpetual victory over this dark and daunting atmosphere at work in this world.
From an early age, children are influenced to condone and personally display major spiritual diversities. They are told it is okay to accept or tolerate extreme or fluctuating beliefs based in this world. They are “socially programmed” to quietly value the opinion of man over what is made out to be hateful truths of God. It is common in our schools, in the news, in television programming, and throughout our relaxed society for many to be “naturally automated” to look away from, or kindly and quietly agree with lax or absent values prominent in society, even making it uncouth to agree with godly authority” and for desiring eternal boundaries.
It is acceptable and expected for you to “do your own thing.”
Life is all about pleasing me, myself, and I and for ignoring and discounting truths of God.
God’s Word puts this dark and devilish spiritually charged conundrum in simple holy terms by “scripturally wiping out” what is commonly viewed by mankind to be both “socially acceptable” and “politically correct” who allow themselves to be molded into a beacon of ungodliness found readily is at work in this world. At the same time, it is often found to be widely accepted for the child of God to be unduly harassed and hounded for their personal choice to profess a personal relationship with Christ and live according to His biblical values.
Certainly, as a professing child of God, you readily understand and agree with God about an eternally recognized dividing and application of His Truth. The Bible tells us this plainly in (2nd Timothy 2:15 that the Truth can be rightly divided. God leaves no room for walking hand in hand with God while walking along a wider sinful path in this world.
The Bible states there is one Truth and one avenue in (John 14:6), rather than many gods and avenues available in finding a personal relationship with God.
A worldly based mindset relies upon the fluctuating opinion of mankind. This serves to elevate man’s viewpoint above that of God. A worldly perspective serves to separate, standing in opposition to truths of God and made subject to His perpetual judgement.
A belief in Truth of God is eternally solidly based upon His Truth, commandments, and precepts of God.
One avenue of belief leads to sin and wide division, while God’s narrow lane leads to a presence of peace and joy that passes all understanding.
You see, following the way of God is not derived from following any opinion of mankind. Rather it is divinely based on the authority and judgment of God.
God breaks down the spoiled fruit of living a sinful life in this clear-cut manner:
Galatians 5:20-21 (KJB) Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
God divides “putting on” His holy character in equally simple terms:
Galatians 5:22-23 (KJB) But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
Please take note that these verses declare when mankind chooses to have a personal relationship with God thereby bearing fruit of His Spirit, there is NO LAW against it.
Yes, living godly in an ungodly world is both possible and expected in the life of every man and woman of God!
Mankind cannot stand in the way of God’s Truth or against a godly man who chooses to be more Christ-like. While the natural man may place obstacles and hindrances in the way of a godly man or woman he cannot eliminate or eradicate the supernatural and eternal power and presence of God.
God’s ways are right and spiritually sufficient, both now and for all eternity. Mankind cannot dilute or destroy the Truth of God. If you bring honor and glory to God by living a godly life, God will manage fruit production and water supply necessary for multiplying seeds of truth, according to His will. The quoting of scripture is an accurate mode of presenting His Truth to others, rather than applying your own opinion (in your words) to situations and people in this world.
Understand that rejection of His truth cannot be avoided in the “spiritual circus” at work in this world, but objections and hostilities are against God and will never void the power and presence of His Truth (Isaiah 55:11).
