Love Without Hypocrisy
Romans 12:9 (KJB) Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.
The Apostle continues to express responsibilities of a professing Christian. He comes to defining sincere love. A Christian is persuaded to emit genuine love. A love that cannot be perceived as anything other than that which is true and originates from the inexhaustible supply from God.
Love that is dissimulated is a love that is disguised or concealed. It is a love that is not sincere. Many professing Christians then, and today, express a “Psuedo-Love.” It looks real, sounds, real, but when pressed into action, fails to stand spiritually tall in any circumstance encountered and floats away at the blowing of contrary winds at work in this world.
Genuine love stands up tall in any situation because it rests on the goodness and grace of God rather than relying upon feelings and shifting sands of this world. Love based on a relationship with God flees the evil and wickedness at work in this world and remains sturdy and “spiritually durable” in the midst of any circumstance.
Sincere love only comes inside a personal relationship with God and stands the test of time and circumstance. Sincere love cannot be counterfeited by any “wannabe Christians” masquerading in this world.
