Man Can Spiritually Connect with God
Gavest thou the goodly wings unto the peacocks? or wings and feathers unto the ostrich? Which leaveth her eggs in the earth, and warmeth them in dust, And forgetteth that the foot may crush them, or that the wild beast may break them. She is hardened against her young ones, as though they were not hers: her labour is in vain without fear; Because God hath deprived her of wisdom, neither hath he imparted to her understanding. What time she lifteth up herself on high, she scorneth the horse and his rider. (Job 39:13-18 KJV)
God was speaking to Job and his three high minded friends about some of the many wonderful and colorful creatures formed in great exotic detail by His hand. God proceeded to ask them if they could have made marvelous creatures such as these; all the while knowing the correct answer was an emphatic no! Mankind does not have any power residing inside himself to create anything. Only God has the ability to form all things, from nothing into something.
This statement by God was to set these three friends down a notch or two from their egotistical stand to a humbler mindset, especially when measured in light of the greatness of God.
Many physical and habitual differences set animals and humans apart one from another. One major dissimilarity is that animals, and creatures are created with only a physical body and soul while mankind is formed as a trichotomy. This means man has three distinct parts; a body, soul, and spirit. While both man and animal have distinguishingly different understanding, unique physical bodies, only man has a spiritual nature about him.
Man’s spiritual nature can be a bridge that connects him with God. Mankind is born with a dark and evil nature disconnected from or in opposition to the spiritual nature of God. Man can align to or bridge spiritually with God only through faith in the work of His Son at Calvary. This spiritual connection allows God to dwell within the heart of mankind, ushering in wisdom and understanding of God.
Animals and creatures are limited to a narrow mindset which operates only within their own species, having no possible access the will and nature of God having no spiritual nature residing inside them. Therefore, animals have no godly wisdom or guidance, only some natural born instincts distinct to each animal or creature. Mankind, on the other hand, is made with an innate desire to align spiritually with God with the intention of him receiving godly wisdom and understanding.
