Man Makes His Own Choice
Job 8:20 (KJB) Behold, God will not cast away a perfect man, neither will he help the evil doers.
Mankind’s choices will always reflect his own eternal destiny. Man is either living with God or living at large in opposition to him.
Bildad comes to this very conclusion when contemplating further about the life of Job, noting that God will not judge a perfect man (like Job), or offer assistance to anyone who chooses to live in sin.
God cannot have any part of mingling with a man who is caught up in sin.
God cannot make reverent and godly choices for mankind thereby coaxing him into obedience.
Whether he lives in sin or unto godliness, mankind always makes his own choice to be drawn unto his flesh or compelled to follow the righteousness of God. God will always place things upon the pathway of life to encourage godliness and for resisting evil, however man is ultimately responsible for his own response to them.
Sometimes pouring rain falls on both the just and the unjust. The godly man’s response will prosper him wherever God has chosen to plant him.
