Selfless Serving Honors God
Acts 20:35 (KJB) I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.
Paul knew all about working hard in tranquil times as well as in the middle of tough circumstances. He never looked at a situation through the lens of his own needs or safety but always had the gospel message and the needs of others occupying the forefront of his mind.
Paul was not afraid to work diligently, getting his hands dirty if necessary, to assist another in need either physically and spiritually.
Yes! Paul intimately understood the concept of selfless giving and living. He liberally gave of all which God bestowed upon him; including the use of time, materials, and money to others in need. He did not choose to waste precious time focusing upon his own needs or desires because he knew that God would take care of him as he kept the wheel of blessing flowing to bless others.
