Aptly Applies to Ahithophel And Judas

Psalm 41:9 (KJB)   Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me.

The first application for this verse is with the setting of this Psalm with King David and Ahithophel.  Ahithophel pretended to be one of David’s closest advisors.  Yet, in time was proven to be a collaborator working in opposition to the authority of King David.
