Born A Sinner

Psalm 51:5 (KJB)   Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.

David was heartbroken in this verse.  Not because somebody had done something to him, but because of what he chose to do to himself.  It is quite an eye opening picture a man can get when he realizes his natural standing before the holiness and righteousness of God.

Psalm 51:5 (KJB)   Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.

All mankind is born with an innate sinful nature at work in his hardened heart and his flesh.
