God is Always Faithful

God is Always Faithful

2 Timothy 2:13 (KJB)   If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.

Even when mankind is unfaithful in his spiritual ignorance or even within his personal relationship with God, God cannot be unfaithful.

For God to be unfaithful He would have to be disloyal to Himself.  This is impossible as God cannot deny Himself or live removed from who He is and has always been.

People who choose to deny God and suppress His ...

Are You a Naysayer?

Are You a Naysayer?

The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe. (John 20:25 KJV)

Thomas is the infamous “doubting disciple.”  He refused to believe about the resurrection of Jesus Christ.  Thomas could not believe it until he ...

In A Deep Pit

In A Deep Pit

To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. How long wilt thou forget me, O LORD? for ever? how long wilt thou hide thy face from me? How long shall I take counsel in my soul, having sorrow in my heart daily? how long shall mine enemy be exalted over me? (Psalm 13:1-2 KJV)

We all find ourselves down trodden and immersed in a deep spiritual pit.  A valley of no hope and only despair.  We ...

Faith is the Opposite of Fear

Faith is the Opposite of Fear

When Pilate therefore heard that saying, he was the more afraid; And went again into the judgment hall, and saith unto Jesus, Whence art thou? But Jesus gave him no answer. (John 19:8-9 KJV)

Pilate was a man who took careful stock of all that was happening around him.  He was on high personal alert using both his eyes and ears to navigate through the unusual circumstances before him.  He did not know what ...

Is God Asking You To Pack Up And Move?

Is God Asking You To Pack Up And Move?

Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee: (Genesis 12:1 KJV)

Abraham left all to follow the Lord.  He did not him and haw around with trepidation towards that which God had commanded him.  Abraham heard God and sprung to action, fulfilling His commandment, despite any reluctance he may ...

Do You Have a Rope Around Your Neck?

Do You Have a Rope Around Your Neck?

Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. (John 8:31-32 KJV)

Can you wrap your finite mind around the great freedom offered in living for Christ?  Many people today believe living for things of God is akin to wrapping a rope about your neck; confining ...

Are you wounded and whipped or standing steadfast and strong in the supernatural power of God?

And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren. (Luke 22:31-32 KJV)

Jesus was speaking to Peter, calling him by his proper surname Simon twice; making this statement God was about to say rather ...

Do people think you are out of your mind about the things of God?

For whether we be beside ourselves, it is to God: or whether we be sober, it is for your cause. For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and ...

Do you melt in the heat of persecution or remain firm in faith unto God?

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter. If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we ...

Do you have a short fuse?

My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. (James 1:2-3 KJV)

Patience seems to be in short supply today; both among individuals operating in accordance to ways of this world and with those who profess to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.  The response to adverse or contrary circumstances of those acknowledging to live unto the things of Christ ...
