Putrid Before God

Proverbs 30:12 (KJB)   There is a generation that are pure in their own eyes, and yet is not washed from their filthiness.

Agur gets straight to the point in this verse!

There are people who are right in their own eyes.  They practice measuring themselves against the faults and fissures of others, rather than rightly measuring against the plumb line God established.  This is called pride.
