Matthew 18:2-3 (KJB)   And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them,  3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

What exactly does “become as little children…” mean in this scripture verse?

Matthew 27:24-25 (KJB)   When Pilate saw that he could prevail nothing, but that rather a tumult was made, he took water, and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just person: see ye to it.  25 Then answered all the people, and said, His blood be on us, and on our children.
