Truth is Perpetually Powerful

Matthew 10:17 (KJB)   But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues.

Jesus Christ warned His Jewish audience in the context of this verse that His message will always have naysayers and protractors determined to disparage and change the truth.  This fact still rings true today, not only for the Jewish people, but for all believers.
