God is the Author of Spiritual Blessings

Ephesians 1:3 (KJB)   Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

Notice this verse does not say some spiritual blessings.  Or a few spiritual blessings.  Or a single blessing.

This verse says ALL spiritual blessings are given to us in heavenly places.

Yes!  Heaven does contain ALL of God’s blessing because it is a place that is ...

Gathering in His Name

September 4th, 2016

Gathering in His Name

For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. (Matthew 18:20 KJV)

This verse is a comforting truth as well as a promise.  It is soothing to the ears, mind, and heart.

God promises that where there is even two gathered in Jesus Christ’s name He is present.  This includes even the smallest of prayer groups, Bible studies, churches, choirs, meetings, and other biblical spiritual venues.

He ...

Do You Meet God’s Condition?

Do You Meet God’s Condition?

He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels. (Revelation 3:5 KJV)

God has included many promises in His Word for those who choose to walk with Him.  The only prerequisite to “cashing in” on His promises is having personal possession of eternal life.

This verse speaks ...

God will keep you upright in this world.

He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. (Psalm 121:3-4 KJV)

Prophecy clearly spells out God’s plan and bright promises for those who are separated unto Him.

For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. (2 Peter 1:21 KJV)

Prophecy did not come about by mankind, nor was it first spoken by man, or flow outward from any created object upon this earth.  Prophecy came directly from the mouth of God, or ...

God’s Word is a settled spiritual masterpiece.

LAMED. For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven. (Psalms 119:89 KJV)

Forever, that is time without end.  Forever is forever!  The Bible says that His Word is settled.  It is without any issue, question, or doubt.  It is proven Truth.  His Word will never decay, rot, or disappear but will stand forever.

Did you know that His Word has been proven over and over again since the beginning of time and ...

Are you living in freedom from sin and physical death unto spiritual life in Christ?

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. (Romans 8:1-2 KJV)

Any person who professes Christ with their lips believing in God through faith in His Son Jesus Christ has ...

The Flesh of Ishmael The Promise of Isaac

Abraham was elderly, in his eighties and still yearning for a son, for an heir to carry on His namesake.  Sara was still barren these many years and Abraham had not yet received the son God had promised to provide.  The only child to have grown up in their household was Eliezer, who was born to a servant, not of Abraham’s loins.

Both he and Sara became impatient, living by sight, losing all faith in this promise of God ...

Is Your Manna Moldy?

The Israelite’s were in the middle of the wilderness of the hot and harsh desert; marching out of Egypt and trudging towards the Promised Land.  They soon began to realize their journey was not going to be easy or painless.  In fact, it seemed to be downright horrible and relentless.

The Israelites began to feel miserable and to murmur and complain against Aaron and Moses because they felt lacked the necessary sustenance needed for their journey.  They viewed their ...

Hidden Manna and a White Stone

“He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.”  (Revelation 2:17)

God promises hidden manna, a white stone, and a new name to those that are overcomers of this world and the devil, sharing in eternal ...
