Are you allowing dishonesty to flourish through silence?
And he said unto them the third time, Why, what evil hath he done? I have found no cause of death in him: I will therefore chastise him, and let him go. And they were instant with loud voices, requiring that he might be crucified. And the voices of them and of the chief priests prevailed. (Luke 23:22-23 KJV)
The loud voices prevailed in sentencing Jesus to death. It did not matter that the loud voices were full of trouble: shouting lies and false accusations having no real proof to back their claims up. These loud voices were shouting the opinion of the majority based upon raw feelings and emotion rather than on any claim that could be substantiated and found to be representing the truth.
Often it seems the louder the voices the more it appears they represent the majority, however, many choose to be somber and silent refusing to proclaim the Truth which represents the mindset of the bulk of the population. Truth wars cannot be won by a silent and subdued witness. To remain silent is the road to continued moral and spiritual failure while the flamboyant but small godless minority simply capture the ebbing tide of raw emotion stirring the crowd to life and rallying them on in a display of perceived power through perceived sheer volume rather than having solid numbers representing the Truth weaved together with moral fiber and biblical based eternal hope for the future.
Jesus was sentenced to death by popular opinion rather than the truth. Do you purport honesty in a Christ-like manner or remain silent inertly approving dishonest schemes and tactics fueled by the god of this world in opposition to truth?
