Do you feel like you have been deserted in this world?
I watch, and am as a sparrow alone upon the house top. (Psalms 102:7 KJV)
Do you ever feel you are all alone, rejected by man, and precariously perched in this world? Does it bring to mind the separation Jesus must have felt in this world as He was nailed upon the cross? It is in these moments that we must force our focus off of our circumstances and back upon the unmovable strength and power of God who promises never to leave you high and dry or alone in this world or in the eternal realm to come.
However, aligning with God should move us away or separates us from many who choose to live among the dark and evil of this world. Jesus did not mince any words when he said because of Him mankind may have to leave mothers, brothers, and friends in this world to follow after Him, but even so we are never alone. God is always with us even on the darkest most miserable days among the evil and darkness on this earth. Jesus is always beside us, complete with a sliver of sunshine and hope for tomorrow, as we sojourn along His narrow way.
