God always hears your prayer and cries of desperation as you dwell in Him.
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7 KJV)
Being careful in this scripture verse means to be fretting, wringing your hands in desperation or worrying yourself to a frazzle about a situation that has wrapped itself around you threatening to choke the life out of you. There are individuals who are down and out in this world who are filled with fear and worry slowly eating away at them as they desperately seek a solution to the problem that has them tied up in a web of knots.
God does not want man to be fearful and overly concerned about any circumstance he faces in this life. God desires that man place all his burdens and weighty situations upon His sturdy shoulders. God yearns that man seek Him in humble prayer, desiring His will and way, while giving Him honor and glory for all that He has done in their life.
Those who are in a personal relationship with Christ Jesus are intimately familiar with this verse which offers a ray of hope:
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. (Romans 8:28 KJV)
God can take any situation we willingly hand over to Him in prayer which seems desperate, hopeless and falling apart at the seams from our limited human viewpoint and turn it around into something bright, cheerful, and filled to overflowing with His peace and joy containing bright hope for the future.
Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved. (Psalms 55:22 KJV)
We also know there will be times in life when we must face situations that are unpleasant or undesirable but we know we can remain calm, content, and sure footed despite adverse circumstances. We will never face hard times of testing and trials alone. God is always within hearing range of our heartfelt prayer, walking beside us, or carrying us through any tough times as He deems necessary.
