Opportunities to serve God are equally available to all mankind.
The rich and poor meet together: the LORD is the maker of them all. (Proverbs 22:2 KJV)
The world always strives to divide mankind by skin color, race, family ties, social and economic status, education, health, and many other kinds of lines in the sand. This faulty division serves to value man by who he is, what he has, and what he can do. This value system relies solely upon man having nothing to do with God.
God does not make distinctions of this sort between men. All mankind is given the same spiritual possibilities according to the measure of their personal faith and works for bringing about a fruitful harvest as they sojourn upon this earth. God created all mankind spiritually and physically naked from birth. Mankind was born penniless and destitute and will someday physically return to the ground in the same impoverished fashion.
It has been said “the ground is level at the foot of the cross” implying no man has a leg up over another when it comes to their ability to serve God. Man is given equal opportunity for spiritual growth and prosperity according to his level of faith placed in the power of God working in his life rather than relying upon man’s own weakness and inability in this world.
