Will you be seen as blameless both outwardly and inwardly?
Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. (1 Corinthians 1:8 KJV)
To be blameless is to be not guilty, maintaining innocence of wrong doing, in action, emotions, and appearance. It is not enough to be innocent but a person should not even appear potentially guilty because even an association with evil has a possibility of leading another person down a wrong pathway from the example you set before them.
God’s Word clearly tells us to separate or stay away from even an appearance to coincide with evil in this world. This means if you are walking into an establishment that caters to something God’s Word is clearly opposed to it would be better to avoid entering the business in the first place. Or because you choose to hang out or dwell with people who make a habit of stealing and lying that you are also a participant in these evil acts because of your proximity in an ongoing relationship with those whose choices are condemned before God.
Man who chooses to profess a relationship with Christ also desires to choose to model His likeness by being in obedience to His Word both speech and action. Otherwise they are wavering: professing one kind of life and choosing to live in another kind of different lifestyle.
