Are you dressed as a bride for her wedding; or in the tattered rudiments of sin and shame?
I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels. (Isaiah 61:10 KJV)
Do you remember the day and moment of your salvation? The great rejoicing of your soul and in heaven as angels sing and rejoice even for one sinner who was saved by placing faith in God. Each time a sinner is saved the Bible tells us the angels rejoice in Heaven as God cloaks them in His holy garments.
Salvation of a soul is a continual rejoicing of the presence of God in the heart despite any circumstances surrounding you. The garments of salvation cover you in His righteousness and adorn you with spiritual jewels as your relationship matures and grows in Him. Having these ornaments in your life emits a pleasurable spiritual fragrance and shows the presence of God in outward adornments for those sanctioned as “fruit inspectors” in this world.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. (Galatians 5:22-23 KJV)
Some choose alternately to wear a gown of self-righteousness of the god of this world which is veiled deceit and spiritual camouflage made to appear as righteousness of God in a clever spiritual disguise. This deception may fool other men but never fools God. Fruit adorning these scantily clad individuals are spoiled a valuable clue for fruit inspectors to take note of as their rotting aroma fills the air with a rotten stench.
