Who do you exalt in your life?
The LORD liveth; and blessed be my rock; and let the God of my salvation be exalted. (Psalms 18:46 KJV)
“The Lord liveth…” not the Lord lived or will live but He liveth. This scripture verse emphatically states the present tense. This was the truth in the time this verse was written by David and is truth for today as well. God was alive at the beginning of time and will live forever for all eternity as the Author and Finisher of our faith.
He is that Great Rock above all other rocks who provides the monumental foundation on which to build our life upon while on this earth and in the heavenly realm to come. At our appointed time; individually or collectively, His return to earth for His own spiritual family or upon our death He will usher His own into the heavenly kingdom with Him forever.
Not only does He live forever but he is blessed. All mankind should exalt Him above anything upon this earth and in the eternal realm to come. Giving Him glory and honor for all that He has done even when we did not deserve His great mercy and grace He gave His Son to die for the sin debt of all mankind.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. May you know the joy of the Lord all year long.
