There is joy in Heaven for every lost sinner quickened spiritually alive.
I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance. (Luke 15:7 KJV)
On this day of Thanksgiving we give thanks to unto God; first and foremost, for His great mercy and grace of which none of us naturally deserve. If we got what we deserved all mankind would be destined to spend eternity in the agonizing fires of Hell. But God extends His mercy and grace to us; desiring that we choose to turn from our sinful nature unto His will and way in faith upon Christ’s finished work upon the cross for sin.
Heaven is a continual abounding feast of the heavenly sort and the banquet table at God’s throne is overflowing with the presence of joy and perfect peace resonating throughout the heavenly realm at the glory of God. This is in stark contrast to the darkness and gloom surrounding the atmosphere of the god of this world.
Heaven is jubilant at the repentance of even one sinner who turns from living according to the god of this world and changing their mind towards sin; viewing it as God sees it from His view from the heavens in His holy spectacles.
The Bible verse tells us that the angels in heaven greatly joy over the salvation of even one lost soul:
Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth. (Luke 15:10 KJV)
Did the angels gather together to sing with joy on the day you repented from your natural state of being born a sinner unto new life in God through His Son Jesus Christ? Or is this holy celebration waiting for your bended knee upon the view of your personal sin rearing its ugly face in the mirror according to God’s law and precepts in contradiction to His perfection and holiness?
Have a very Happy Thanksgiving Day!
