Wise people speak sparsely.
He that hath knowledge spareth his words: and a man of understanding is of an excellent spirit. (Proverbs 17:27 KJV)
The spirit and demeanor in which things are done is of the utmost importance. A person can have a lot of things to say but say little or nothing that is useful in uplifting and forwarding the work of God. Others use words sparingly with an attitude of meekness and lowliness that exhibit spiritual qualities mirrored of God.
Others appear to come in the spirit of meekness and humility but inwardly are raging wolves set to cause contention and strife among others leading to division and strife and are of a dark spirit that works ill in the church.
Those who have biblical understanding are often slow to speak and spiritually mindful of the words and attitude they choose; bringing about a calm spirit which is filled to overflowing with the fruits of the Spirit of God not contaminated with the spoiled fruit of this world and drawing flies and rotting away no longer useful in the sowing of seeds of the gospel message.
