Your earthly tabernacle is unpolished but the Heavenly Tabernacle to come is perfect.
For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us: (Hebrews 9:24 KJV)
The unpolished and rough around the edges earthly tabernacle is a pattern of the perfect tabernacle in the heavens. The earthly tabernacle exists amid a natural environment fueled by filth and sin from the god of this world. God’s holy and unadulterated tabernacle is resting in perfect peace in the third heaven with God upon His throne accompanied by His Son Jesus Christ at His right hand and flocked by legions of angels giving glory and honor unto Him.
It was necessary to clean the earthly tabernacle which was dilapidated when the sin of Adam polluted this once perfect environment. The earthly tabernacle was washed in the Old Testament by Moses with the blood of bulls and goats but this cleansing was not sufficient to permanently remove sin. The removal process of sin as far as east is to west required every drop of precious shed blood from Jesus Christ’s sacrifice upon the cross to eradicate sin; past, present, and future.
For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him. As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us. (Psalms 103:11-12 KJV)
Upon this earth our temporary tabernacle is a form or semblance of the perfect temple we will inhabit upon our physical death or the arrival of the hour of Jesus Christ’s return into the clouds for His spiritual family. God will gather His spiritual family with Him, in perfect timing, around the throne in the heavenly realm. Until that moment of His return those spiritually alive upon this earth desire earnestly for His return for them; meanwhile are busy about contending for the faith; sowing seeds of His ministry for others to be quickened alive unto Him too.
