Are you a weary and bone tired Christian?
But ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing. (2 Thessalonians 3:13 KJV)
There are many weary and bone tired Christians walking about looking like dead men in this world. Many have been about the business of God according to their own strength; some have even been spiritually aggrieved by the schemes of the devil, or are on the run from God’s will, others have been affronted by other professing Christians who are struggling as well.
Many Christians find themselves to be physically, emotionally, and spiritually drained; resorting to crawling along with doubt, persecution, and oppression weighing heavily upon their tired shoulders. Many are spiritually fatigued taking it upon themselves to serve and help other people; often placing themselves in front of the supernatural power of God and His will and way for their life. Good works work good when they fall into line with God’s will and are a natural outpouring of the ministry He calls us to do; not a manipulated ministry with a “it is the right thing to do, I have to do this complex” added on.
Contention and strife are always a big part of the devil’s plan for interfering or meddling in God’s ministry or calling for your life. Christians should expect to encounter ploys and tricks hiding among the fertile fields ripe for sowing seeds as they perform good works and witnessing to glorify and honor Him. The devil always tries to spiritually short circuit those whom God has placed in a fertile land crying out for His Word hungering and thirsting for it.
The Bible tells us:
And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. (Galatians 6:9 KJV)
God promises as we invest time and talents according to His will for our lives honoring and glorifying Him any struggles we endure as we pass through spiritual forces and mine fields will not be in vain; but spiritually worthwhile for those in need He places upon our path.
