The Crucified Life
The Crucified Life Ministries BBS “Rules of Engagement and participation”
If you are using The Crucified Life Ministries B.B.S. you have, by your use, agreed to be governed and abide by the rules set forth below. If you do not agree with these terms, please refrain from using this biblical based BBS. Thank you in advance for your cooperation!

The purpose of this BBS is to provide the truths of the Gospel, study precepts, promises, and principals of God’s Word, fellowship and encourage spiritual growth in the lives of fellow brothers and sisters in Christ and to serve as a witness to unbelievers seeking to know more about possessing a personal relationship with God.

The Crucified Life Ministries accept the truth that God’s Word is inspired and perpetually preserved by God (Psalm 12:6-7).  Our ministry posts will be made using the King James Version (KJV), however, we encourage every believer to study scripture for him or herself, to question and seek answers, mature spiritually, and to decide on a personal level what version they are led to use.

We strongly believe that God’s Word can be rightly divided (2 Timothy 2:15), therefore, lines are drawn as to what is biblically acceptable for discussion.  Doctrine and precepts are solely based upon commandments and precepts as found in God’s Word.

We have outlined our statement of faith highlighting important doctrines of salvation and other truth found in God’s Word on our website in detail LOCATED HERE for your review.  We welcome anyone to post on our boards, provided they do not promote doctrine contrary to biblical essentials.  On any issues not presented in detail here, where beliefs could vary, we encourage discussion, questions, and study of scripture as well, and sharing of ideas. We ask that such forums be conducted in a proper manner which is free of argument and rudeness and that all would seek to learn together with a prayerful attitude with the ultimate purpose of bringing honor and glory to God.

We ask that anyone who posts on The Crucified Life Ministry BBS remember that you are, first and foremost, representing Christ to others.  Things you say and the manner in which you conduct yourself are representative of who you believe Christ to be and act as a billboard for others to learn more about God.

Please remember that your opinion is just that, an opinion.  However, scripture represents the Truths of God and is the final verdict in biblical matters. Posts are best when grounded in scripture verses rather than filled with philosophies and reasoning of man.

Bearing in mind the real-time nature of The Crucified Life Ministry BBS, it is impossible for us to review messages individually as they are being posted. However, we do actively monitor the contents of posted messages on a daily basis striving to flag or delete any which do not follow our Statement of Faith and Bible based beliefs previously set forth for your review.  We are not responsible for any and all messages posted. We do not vouch for or warrant the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any message, and are not responsible for the contents of any message. Messages are for the purpose of expressing the views of the author of the message, not necessarily the views of the administrators of The Crucified Life Ministries BBS or any entity associated with The Crucified Life Ministries BBS.

Any user who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to contact us immediately by email at: Contact Administrators who have the ability to access and remove objectionable messages as necessary. This is a manual process, however, so please realize that we may not be able to remove or edit particular messages immediately, but will strive to do so in a timely manner.

Finally, you expressly agree, through your choice to use this service, that you will not use The Crucified Life Ministries BBS to post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person’s privacy, and contrary to the Biblical beliefs found in God’s Word. Although we do not and cannot review the messages posted and are not responsible for the content of any of these messages, we reserve the right to delete any message for any reason whatsoever. You remain solely responsible for the content of your messages, and you agree to indemnify and hold us harmless with respect to any claim based upon transmission of your message(s).

    Moderator Functions

Moderators have the ability to do the following:

Close Thread – Prevents further replies to a topic or thread. This is done if the thread is against our acceptable policies, is a duplicate, if there is nothing constructive to be said on the current subject, or if a thread has been moved to another forum. As an example, threads that are trolling for people to respond will most likely be closed.

Move Thread – May move a thread to another forum more suitable for the current discussion. This may happen in the middle of a thread if the discussion has ventured off topic.

Delete Thread. Done in the most extreme case, this function completely removes the thread or post from the message board in the event removal is necessary.

    General Guidelines for Moderating

Moderators may have a few of their own minor guidelines too, in addition to the few rules mentioned here.

Don’t close or delete threads you don’t agree with. Rather than censoring a post you don’t agree with, reply with your own constructive counter-argument / criticism as found in scripture from God’s Word.

Refrain from deleting threads. Use the Close Thread function instead. Threads or replies should only be deleted if it blatantly goes against the posting guidelines. Use good judgement.

Post a public notice when moving threads. If you feel that a thread belongs in another forum, post a notice before you move it so people know where to look for continuing discussion.

Take part! Just because you are a moderator doesn’t mean you can’t take part in a discussion. Try to facilitate a discussion.

If you feel a member or moderator is not following these guidelines set forth, please contact an administrator by email HERE.
