The Birth of Jesus Christ
John 1:14 (KJB) And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
His birth was a supernatural event. An earthly presence, or manifestation of the supernatural power of God. Jesus Christ was born in the flesh and was still God.
How was this possible?
His birth was only possible through the unlimited power and supernatural presence of God who ushered Jesus onto this earth through a blessed and willing earthly vessel, a mother, who was specially chosen by God for this task named Mary.
Jesus Christ was born in the flesh, even looking just like any other man alive upon this earth. He was to sojourn on this earth for a little over thirty years, according to God’s will, bringing glory, grace, and truth of God into this world so that others could know Him and choose to live forever.
I hope and pray on this Christmas day, set aside for marking His birth, you take some precious time to reflect upon this miraculous event that led to His finished work of Jesus Christ upon the cross at Calvary.
The birth of Jesus was a supernatural event that commenced humbly on this earth in a manger and was to conclude a few years later by Him being a willing shed blood sacrifice upon the cross at Calvary according to the will of God.
