Thou Art Mine
Psalm 22:10 (KJB) I was cast upon thee from the womb: thou art my God from my mother’s belly.
David reminded God that He had been his God since he was formed. God had created him in His own fashion and brought Him forth into this world.
God did the same thing for every human being that includes you and I. God formed us and knew us before we were born on this earth! He alone is our God. Did you know He is the God of even those individuals who choose not to acknowledge Him as their personal God? He cannot deny knowing those whom He created.
Because God is our God He is interested in every aspect of our lives. He desires to guide us and direct us in His righteousness but He refuses to “spiritually micromanage” every detail of our life. He allows our freewill to “kick in” enabling man to ultimately make his own decisions.
David was facing a tough time as he was inspired to pen this verse. David reached out to God in the midst of the crisis he was facing to trust in Him who was the only one who would see him through any untoward circumstances at hand.
God desires to sustain and deliver you from troublesome trials. Place your trust in God’s ability like David did, rather than your own ability, and He who created you will navigate you through difficult times.
