Treat Others Fairly for You Will Give an Answer to God
Colossians 4:1 (KJB) Masters, give unto your servants that which is just and equal; knowing that ye also have a Master in heaven.
A lost man can fail to serve others equally and seem to get away with it in this woefully wicked leaning world.
However, Paul in this verse reminds us, a man will give an answer to God for his treatment of others. Especially in a position of a master and a servant.
God places saved as well as lost men in both servant and leadership positions in this world. Not perhaps because they are great leaders or great servants. Or because they make a conscious choice to serve God or deny His existence. Because God can use any man in any position to bring about His will, whether he be a servant or a leader and despite whether he or she is a child of God or the god of this world.
The consensus found in this verse is that EVERY man must give an answer to GOD for his treatment of others, whether they be a servant or leader, and despite their natural or supernatural standing in this life.
A man or woman of God agrees with God and consistently employs His characteristics in dealing with others, while the child of the god of this world repeatedly chooses to serve the darkness of satan.
The “Spiritual Golden Rule” at work in this world implies that a man should treat others as he desires to be treated, but it should be stated for a man to treat others as God desires they be treated for it is God’s estimation and character that give meaning forever.
