What Is Your Leadership Style?
Mark 10:44-45 (KJB) And whosoever of you will be the chiefest, shall be servant of all. 45 For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.
God’s spiritual economy and authority, both on this earth and in the eternal realm, operate on a much different fuel than many leaders in authority at work in this dark and wicked world.
The world’s earthly leaders often stand tall and proud, fueled by a self-serving and dark agenda that seems to elevate them upwards to rule over the residents of this world. Certainly, not many are employing a lead by kind, or “follow me by example” authority, or a leading by love and respect agenda, or choosing to serve God.
A leader or authority figure who operates within the parameters of God’s spiritual army is always found to be leading best from his knees. He can often be found positioned as a humble servant who is resting upon his knees and seeking the action, direction and desires of God rather than operating upon his own ideas and wishes. A godly man chooses to lead by example, with a thick spiritual ribbon of love (Ephesians 4:15) intertwined inside the will and way of God’s divine direction. An unconditional love and faith in the power and presence of God, rather than self, is the fuel that propels a godly man to lead according to the will and ways of God. A godly man does not naturally desire to go where God’s will does not point him.
An earthly leader with a lost spiritual heart naturally leads and directs in alignment with the god of this world. A godly man leads according to the desires of his natural heart which is perpetually and divinely intertwined with the love, mercy, and grace of God.
