Your Spiritual Obligation
Ecclesiastes 12:13 (KJB) Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
This is a powerful “one liner” from the Word of God. The Bible is filled to overflowing with spiritual commandments, precepts, insight, and direction in living a successful spiritual life. Every scripture verse has been included through inspiration and direction of God for mankind to take to heart.
This verses succinctly concludes or comes straight to the point about living a life which is pleasing to God. Having reverent fear of God always sets the proper spiritual foundation for living to please and honor Him. The fear of living without the love, power, and protection of God should drive mankind to his knees to place faith in God.
Faith is the opposite of fear. Mankind either fears to surrender to God or chooses to place genuine faith in the supernatural ability and power of God rather than anything of himself. Man cannot sit on both sides of the proverbial “spiritual fence”. He is either in the spiritual camp of those who believe wholly in things of God or he is slacking off in the world’s camp of never ending fear and doubt.
God desires all mankind place trust in His supernatural power and ability and desire to keep His commandments.
