A Called-Out Assembly Shines Light and Works
1 Peter 2:9 (KJB) But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
Regrettably, many churches are busy blending in with the ways and words of this world. It is often tough to distinguish between God’s house and the house of the god of this world.
It was not always this way. God’s house was alive and spiritually vibrant. It was teeming with life and action both inside and outside in this world. A man of God could easily be distinguished by his life, love, and light which shined brilliantly from God’s church in this world.
Today a person might find mostly dead-hearted people sitting in the pews and none of God’s people willing to work for God as spiritual servants in this world placing the welfare of others in need above their own desires.
The man who is busy following the dark desires of the god of this world is lifeless, dull, and spiritually dead to things of God. He pops his dark and wicked head up with aim to multiply and grow like bothersome weeds in a flowerbed. The devil’s army aims to surround every sincere child of God with weeds of life to choke him and poke holes in his spiritual business, attempting to drain the spiritual fuel of faith right out of him.
However, today’s genuine churches, fueled by the supernatural power of God, will remain perpetually tall and vibrant in any circumstance or environment at work in this world. Their pews will be filled with spiritually alive and active members whose only desire is to fulfill the will of God in their life as they sojourn in this world.
The supernatural nature and power of God is eternally alive and at work in churches in this world and inside every child of God’s heart and mind. A servant desires to work simply for bringing honor and glory to God and neither he or his church can be snuffed out by any wickedness attempted by dark minions employed by the god of this world.
