A Future Eternal Glory
James 1:12 (KJB) Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.
Not only is salvation an instantaneous spiritual event and a lifetime cleaning a renewing process, but it culminates into a promised future glory. A divine spiritual crowning on the very moment of physical death.
This scripture says a genuine child of God will receive the crown of life. This eternal crown is the precious glory of God. It is the receiving perpetual sweet fellowship with God with a warm welcome into the heavenly gates by God.
While a child of God is serving God on this earth he cannot put on the entire magnitude of the glory of God because sin is present with him on this earth and God cannot be present with any inkling of sin. However, when His children reach their eternal resting state and there is no longer the presence of sin, God’s glory illuminates every child.
Now, we must keep in mind that His supernatural glory is not for the benefit of mankind, but forever in giving honor, reverence, and glory to God.
In fact, the Bible tells us we will lay our crowns at His feet rather than wear them our self like well-deserved spiritual trophies. This is what many professing Christians do not get, the crowns, the glory, and acclimations a child of God receives are not for his or her own glory but for glorifying and worshipping God. It is all about Him, not us!
