A Little is Often Better
Psalm 37:16 (KJB) A little that a righteous man hath is better than the riches of many wicked.
A satisfying glass which is only half full is much better than a glass overflowing with riches and wickedness. Often wickedness and riches go hand in hand. A man is better to enjoy a little blessing to the fullest than to get lost in sin among much.
Now certainly you understand that not every financially richly blessed person is wicked. For the love of money is a bit different than simply having great riches. However, it is common for money and wickedness to meet and run together in the same circle.
The often world sees riches and blessings as a mark of proven success. A sign of living right to the lost at heart is being able to choose and do as he or she pleases because money is not a factor in his decisions. On the other hand, a person who is not necessarily blessed financially always has many blessings of God.
It is true, in the end, money is frivolous and fleeting while righteousness and blessings of God will last forever. A glass half full of blessings from God and a nearly empty bank account is much better than financial gain and great wickedness.
