A Man is Not Made to Carry the Weight and Woe of Sin
1 John 1:9 (KJB) If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
The grace of God gives a man the strength to bear his burdens. Without that, a man naturally buckles under the weighty burden of sin. Why, because mankind was never meant to carry the burden of sin and is never meant to carry a weight of another person’s sin. Sin is always personal and creates a crevice between a man and God.
Naturally speaking, a man was created by God for living according to His will and for bringing honor and glory to Him in living apart from sin. But, as you know, this perfect world was spiritually shattered by the presence of satan and the onset of sin from birth in this world.
However, even with sin working in this world, each person is personally responsible for obeying God on His terms, not theirs. In doing so, along with a sincere confession of sin, God will lift the burden or cost of sin.
God created an eternal pathway for perpetual relief from sin. This supernatural pathway is only accessed through having a personal relationship with Him allowing Him to reside in the heart.
