A Man of Earth and A Man of Heaven
1 Corinthians 15:47 (KJB) The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.
A man born on this earth is formed out of the dust of this earth. No kidding, if the elements of man are tested by Science, the results will be consistent with the particles of dust on this earth. Think about this for a moment, it is amazing that the creation of man in this world can be both believed through faith and proven by Science.
Jesus Christ was divinely born as man of this earth and was God.
The second man, mentioned in this verse, is a heavenly man of God. The nature of his soul is spiritual. This spiritual nature stems from God who is exclusively spiritual in nature. God is not formed physically as a man is and is without a natural birth into this world. God has always been and forever will always be.
A man has a natural body of flesh and a spiritual body. Jesus Christ was born as a body in the flesh. He was an earthly and supernatural representative of God on this earth, for a specific time and purpose of God.
Every natural born man is divinely fashioned as a trichotomy: consisting of a body, soul, and spirit. His body is human flesh, his soul is the seat of his emotions, and his spirit is born dead to God but can be divinely quickened alive in spirit with God.
Every man, woman, and child, who is by His new spiritual nature a spiritual child of God, is divinely both a man of the earth and a spiritual man of the Lord of heaven. For a man who has been quickened spiritually alive exists both physically and spiritually in this world and forevermore in the eternal realm.
