A Sharp Crusader
Psalm 149:6 (KJB) Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a twoedged sword in their hand.
God does not expect His spiritual family to sit on the sideline of life. Nor does God desire for them to sit on the fences of life. Continual praises, scripture, and marching ahead are to be a child of God’s spiritual crusade as they walk circumspectly, bringing glory to God in this world.
God desires for each of us to sing a litany of praises as well as to assail enemies of the cross with the tow-edged sword He has provided for wielding His Word into the heart of a battle. The center of lost souls and in wayward hearts is the place where spiritual crusades can make a difference in lives; now and for all eternity.
Every child of God can expect to march into conflict and heated spiritual battles as long as he remains alive on this earth. Some of the worst battles will be among those who profess a personal relationship with Christ. “Don’t judge me…” will often be heard from those who are not personally aware of the power and purpose of the two-edged sword God has provided His spiritual family.
