A Sweet Treat or A Bitter Bite
Isaiah 3:10 (KJB) Say ye to the righteous, that it shall be well with him: for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.
The law of sowing and reaping is just not a fable or a fairy tale. Tangible results are always produced from our words and actions as we live in this world. It is true that some consequences may not be palpable now but in God’s timing will rear their head into our life. The reaping, or the fruit of our chosen actions, last forever.
Eating the fruit of your doings is to expect a certain outcome for a chosen standard of living. Please do not assume that you can do whatever you desire in this world and still feast upon the riches of God in the eternal realm. God’s Word is very clear that every man will recompense his own eternal rewards according to his spiritual fruit production, or lack thereof in this world.
This means that if you choose to suck lemons while sojourning in this world you will find only lemonade in the eternal realm. However, if you choose to employ godliness according to the fruit of the Spirit in your life as found in Galatians 5:26-27; love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance; you will find a bountiful crop of eternal blessings in eternity.
God promised every child who chooses to live righteously in spiritual agreement with Him on this earth will be divinely healthy and enjoy a banner crop of His blessings forevermore. For any person who chooses to chew on lemons and be bitter rather than spiritually better will shake and bake in the fires of hell forever.
